2006 Roussanne, Santa Barbara County
A recent patron of ours said that this wine carried aromatics of peaches and tea leaves and so dubbed it herb-s-licious. This wine sits round in your mouth determined to be elegant. Roussanne, though not often bottled by itself, deserves a chance to stand up and be noticed by those in the desperate search for white wines with character. It'd a great accent to crab, lobster, or a Sunday morning brunch.
