Situated in the valley east of Hwy. 154, this vineyard sits in the "gateway" to Happy Canyon area we've discussed before, and in fact is also home of the newly grafted vines that will be the primary vineyard source for our Tre Anelli wines. There is a fantastic litttle microclimate in that area and we expect many great things to emerge. In the typical Consilience style this is a big, fruit forward style Syrah with jammy dark berry flavors, a touch of spice and a smoky character.
