About this wine:
As winemakers jockey for every Pinot berry and people scramble to plant Pinot Noir in every patch of dirt and window flower box, its clear Pinot Noir no longer needs any introduction. While representing one of the more delicate grapes, and certainly most elegant wines, the Consilience Pinot Noir proudly stays with the stylistic direction of our other red wines. Like that petite blonde personal trainer who makes you cry after leading you through 140 sit-ups, we don’t believe beauty and strength have to be mutually exclusive. The natural finesse, silky texture and seduction of Pinot Noir have been cradled in a full bodied, structured and complex wine with strawberry and black cherry flavors that are more extracted and expressive than your average Burgundian styled Pinot Noir. No retreat here.
