About this wine:
The Solomon Hills Vineyard lies at the gateway to the Santa Maria Valley appellation, and is the newest vineyard project for the owners and managers of the well known Bien Nacido vineyard. Near the Pacific Ocean this cool climate region provides ideal growing conditions for Pinot Noir. We are excited to have access to this fruit, and the result may be the most elegant of the three Pinot Noirs we currently produce. It's got all the finesse and velvety texture typical of our Ashley's vineyard Pinot Noir, but comes across even more concentrated and extracted with sweet black cherry and violet aromas bursting from the glass. It's a full bodied Pinot, but we know you would expect nothing less from us.
