About this wine:
Breaking from our general focus on the “Rhone” varietals, this is the second vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon that we have been able to produce after waiting years for just the right fruit to become available. Deferred gratification is something you get good at in the wine business, but its all worth it when you finally get around all the bases. The Camp 4 vineyard has turned out to be great source for this most noble grape, and this vintage again captures the traditional black currant and cedar cabernet flavors along with some of the dark cherry / blackberry flavors typical of our Syrah and Petite Sirah. Pull out the big Riedels and Frank Sinatra for this one.
