About this wine:

No matter its origin, there just seems to be something about this wine that just makes you feel American. Happy, positive, we’re-not-so-bad-after-all type of American. Passionate, work-hard-play-hard type of American. We’ve heard anecdotal stories of this wine being somewhat secretly consumed on weekday evenings, but after a long hard fought week, it really begs to be there with you for the Friday evening transition. Whether you’ve contributed to the human genome project, loaded trucks or chauffeured three kids to 17 different events all week, there comes that moment when you deserve something that comes to you and gives up a little pleasure without you having to work so hard for it. While maintaining some underlying complexity, the overwhelming feature of this wine is an up-front, extroverted and celebratory fruit-forward style. Zinfandel fans tend to be a passionate group, and we think this vintage might really help fuel that fire.
