About this wine:
Increasingly fashionable, but still not quite a household name, Viognier (pronounced vee-ohn-yay) is definitely ready for the big sunglasses and warmth of the spotlight. In general, Viognier is known for its beautiful floral and tropical aromatics. Following just the right combination of barrel and stainless steel tank fermentation of this wine, the classic apricot, peach and honeysuckle aromas have been preserved in the typical expressive Consilience style. The sweetness on the nose almost sets up an expectation for an off-dry wine, but instead gives way to rounded and expansive fruit flavors captured in a dry style.
