About this wine:
Most everyone in the business knows of Hampton farming, and you can imagine that the owner’s personal vineyard might be something special. This beautiful 20 acre property enjoys a commanding view out over the valley and is impeccably maintained with every vine and blade of grass practically standing at attention. The wine itself maintains a similar commanding spot among the entire line of single vineyard Syrah that we produce. This is a dark, inky wine with a solid core of rich black cherry and blueberry flavors and a firm presence that probably wouldn’t surprise anyone familiar with the Consilience style. Aged nearly two years in barrel, it was worth the wait.
