Yet again, Rodney Shull Vineyard has made us proud with the 2005 vintage, yielding some of the best fruit that we have seen in years. This vineyards sandy soil is well drained, resulting in just the right stress to the vines. Blended with a small amount of Grenache, the quality of the fruit shows through with upfront fruit giving way to the textured, soft spicy notes of vanilla and licorice. Dreamy as a long lost memory; take pleasure in this tonight.
