This is another very small production wine from the personal vineyard of one of the most well known vineyard managers in the central coast, and you can imagine this might be some well cared for fruit. We’re lucky to have access to these grapes, and with a production of only 270 cases, they get the attention they deserve throughout the wine making process. Each grape is carefully plucked from the stem, held up and admired under a setting sun before being gently placed in the hopper…well, not really, but you get the idea. It’s a Syrah that tends toward the dark fruit flavor spectrum with touches of blackberry and licorice, and nice chocolaty tannins.
