With a career vineyard management that spans nearly four decades, Dale Hampton knows a thing or two about how to grow top quality grapes. He brings all that experience to bear at his small, personal vineyard, located in the warm, eastern end of the Santa Ynez Valley. We feel pretty lucky to have access to this outstanding fruit especially when we drink the wine our very own Brett Escalera made from it! True to the expressive, signature Consilience style, this is a powerful, fruit-forward wine with flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, baking spices, white pepper and chocolate. The long and flavorful finish invites you back for more - but get it while you can because we only made 226 cases! Pair it with anything you can grill including beef, lamb or portabella mushrooms. It also plays well with chocolate in all forms - from truffles to mole sauce.
